■ Efficacy. Effect

1. Spasms and hypermotor function in the following diseases:

gastric and duodenal ulcers, esophageal spasms, pyloric spasms, gastritis, enteritis, intestinal colic, spastic constipation, functional dianthea, cholecystitis, cholangitis, cholelithiasis, biliary dyskinesia, s equelae of gastrectomy and cholecystectomy, urinary stones, cystitis, functional diarrhea, urethral and bladder spasms due to instrument insertion, dysmenorrhea, and lower uterine spasms duri ng labor

2. Pretreatment for X-ray and endoscopic examination of the digestive tract. Increase

or decrease the dosage appropriately according to age and symptoms.

■ Dosage and Administration

Adults: 10-20 mg of scopolamine bromide is administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or intravenously. The dose

may be increased or decreased appropriately depending on age and symptoms.
