- ■ Efficacy. Effect
- Prevention and treatment of vitamin B1 deficiency
- Supplementation when the demand for vitamin B1 is increased and intake from food is insufficient (wasting disease, hyperthyroidism, pregnant women, lactating women, intense physical lab or, etc)
- Wernicke encephalopathy disease
- Cardiac disorders
- In the following diseases, in which vitamin B1 deficiency or metabolic disorder is presumed to be involved:
- Neuralgia
- Myalgia, arthralgia
- Peripheral neuritis, peripheral nerve paralysis
- Myocardial metabolic disorder
- Constipation and other gastrointestinal motor dysfunction
- Postoperative intestinal paralysis
- In cases in which vitamin B1 deficiency or metabolic disorder is presumed to be involved, it should not be used without a purpose for about 1 month as it is ineffective.
- ■ Dosage and Administration
- As fursuitiamine, adults are usually injected subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or intravenously at a dose of 5 to 100 mg per day. The dose
- may be increased or decreased appropriately depending on the symptoms.
