■ Efficacy. Effect
1. Prevention and treatment of vitamin B1 deficiency
2. Supplementation when the demand for vitamin B1 is increased and intake from food is insufficient (wasting disease, hyperthyroidism, pregnant women, lactating women, intense physical lab or, etc)
3. Wernicke encephalopathy disease
4. Cardiac disorders
5. In the following diseases, in which vitamin B1 deficiency or metabolic disorder is presumed to be involved:
1) Neuralgia
2) Myalgia, arthralgia
3) Peripheral neuritis, peripheral nerve paralysis
4) Myocardial metabolic disorder
5) Constipation and other gastrointestinal motor dysfunction
6) Postoperative intestinal paralysis
In cases in which vitamin B1 deficiency or metabolic disorder is presumed to be involved, it should not be used without a purpose for about 1 month as it is ineffective.

■ Dosage and Administration
As fursuitiamine, adults are usually injected subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or intravenously at a dose of 5 to 100 mg per day. The dose
may be increased or decreased appropriately depending on the symptoms.
